The City of Neoga Street Department is responsible for maintaining streets and alleyways, the Street Department also provides limb pickup in the months of April and October, mosquito spraying, snow removal, street sweeping, signal light maintenance, and boulevard tree trimming.

Storm Damage Cleanup
The City of Neoga will pick up branches within city limits after a storm. To speed up the process and to make it easier to pick up the branches the City asks that they be placed on the boulevard parallel to the ditch or in the ditch.
The backhoe can pick up the branches easily if they are stacked in one direction. Due to time constraints, the City is not able to pick up branches from routine trimming or tree removal.
Residents are able to dispose of this debris by placing it on the brush pile located behind the shop at 12th & Lake Avenue. If you have any questions about these policies please call our office at 895-3237. Thank you.
Fall Leaf Removal
Landscape waste is allowed to be burned on the premises where it is generated.
The hours that burning is allowed are: Monday – Saturday 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. No burning on Sundays or holidays.
Also, please be aware of your surroundings and weather conditions, and do not burn when and where it is not appropriate.
